LIANNA CARRERA AS "JORDAN"
A bumbling and slightly neurotic Jordan is a preacher's kid, has hit thirty and life is not what she thought it would be. She is on the verge of giving up her dream of stand-up comedy, and settling for being extraordinarily funny at her day job.
HOLLY LAURENT (KEY & PEELE) AS "MELISSA"
Melissa cant help it. She's beautiful and charismatic and is a bit of a tease to everyone she meets. She is the kind of girl who likes attention no matter who it's from, and she gets it.
CHRISTINA ANTHONY (COMEDY CENTRAL) AS "MATEA"
Matea and Jordan are next door neighbors and best friends in Downtown Los Angeles, the odd couple friendship is the view in which the story is seen. The friends are exact opposites on the surface, everything from their religion to their backgrounds to their sexual orientation, but both together find meaningful friendship thru comedy and the mishaps of life.
MEL SHIMKOVITZ (TRANSPARENT) AS "LANE"
Once a gangly, awkward tomboy, Lane's grown into herself. A little too confidently.
LINDSAY HICKS (THE BETTER HALF) AS "KATE"
Kate is a good girl who has to do everything right, and always has. But her best laid plans are slipping right through her hands.
AMY JACKSON-LEWIS (THE BETTER HALF) AS "NADIA"
Nadia is constantly being accused of behaving "like a dude" by both women and men, because she just doesn't get attached to anything - especially them.
JEN SCHATZ (30 ROCK) AS "AVERY"
Avery is a woman who has it together in her professional life but her confident persona quickly unravels when she is faced with her biggest insecurity; the possibility that she actually a crazy person.
D'LO KIDD (SENSE8, TRANSPARENT) AS "SOLOMON"
In a friend group that consists of dysfunction, trans guy Solomon is solid. A confidant for the others, this budding energy worker is Hindu with a Jewish name. A bit of a smart-ass, he considers himself an average joe schmo, having a second generation immigrant experience.
